Boho Summer Elopement in Glacier National Park

It only took us a year, but we finally blogged about this epic shoot in Glacier National Park!

Have you ever been to Montana? It seriously lives up to its name of “Big Sky Country!” We were traveling with family, but snuck away for an absolutely amazing elopement shoot with some of the best folks I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with!

In the days leading up to the shoot, fires broke out around where we had planned to be and up until we arrived, we debated moving, or canceling, but we were pretty darn determined! Even with the smoke and haze around us, I’m not sure if I’ve ever had the pleasure of working in such a stunningly beautiful natural environment. We were able to bring together a group of incredible local vendors, utilizing foraged greens, a vintage gown, my own personal boots, antique decor and of course the incredible expanse of Glacier National Park!

Plus, our couple was pretty damn cute! They were the best to work with and so easy going. Can’t wait for my next Glacier elopement!

Giving Back, the Segal Family Foundation Annual Meeting at the Hyatt in Jersey City

We LOVE working with non-profits and foundations! It is at the core of our very existence, having the opportunity to work with incredible organizations giving back to their community in a innovative and caring ways is our jam.

When we were approached to work with the Segal Family Foundation on their annual meeting in Jersey City, we’re fairly certain we squealed with excitement. We worked with their team to bring together over 300 guests from across the globe to, learn, grow, explore and build community with organizations from all over the Africa. We produced three days worth of events, including a Gala, Concert and boat cruise in addition to full day programming and networking.

Working towards the greater good through this event brought such joy to both our team and the the foundation! We’re excited to be working with SFF yet again on their Annual Meeting for 2019.

Brad and Danielle's Rustic Summer Wedding at Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ

We’re excited about our new blog and will be working on blogging (hopefully once a month!) Today, we’re diving deep into our archives for one of our first day of coordination weddings, for Brad and Danielle’s beautiful Waterloo Village Wedding. I’m often skeptical about working with friends, but when Danielle and I met for coffee in the spring of 2016, and she shared some of her concerns about her upcoming wedding, I knew instantly I wanted to be a part of it. We’re both entrepreneurs and were running young businesses, so we offered a barter - I was their day of coordinator and she graciously completely redesigned my previous website!

To this day, I think this is still the most I’ve ever walked on a wedding day, we covered close to 10 miles due to the size of the venue, but it was absolutely worth it! Waterloo Village is beautifully preserved 19th century town in Stanhope, NJ. The venue is situated surrounded by woods, making it intimate, while still offering many spaces for ceremony, reception and especially photos.

Due to the rain, we ended up moving their ceremony inside, but Danielle had originally wanted a barn wedding so it fit perfectly and she was thrilled!

Between the incredible, locally (much of it onsite) grown food, cake with a special vegan tier just for the bride and the bonfire with s’mores to round out the evening, it was a perfect day!
